The last evening class for 2013

Tonight is the last card class of the year, so we thought we would give them something a little special tonight!
This is something that we would do on a weekend workshop so we will be giving the ladies a extra hour tonight so they can take home the finished product!
The die is from Sizzix and the stamps are the twelve days of Christmas from Graphic 45

Also Julie made this little master piece to match!
Well, thats all for this year. Please watch out for new workshops in the new year!

Sorry i'am so late!

I can't believe i have got around to the blog!
It has been so busy with all the classes and workshops that we have had over the last few months.
We have only three left until the end of 2013. Where has the time gone?
Julie had two full day workshops due to the demand of crafters wanting to take part. The workshop was to make six Christmas cards using different techniques.

Kathy held a Christmas workshop making three items. The ladies made a box style card and transferred an image onto a candle, they took them away in a gift bag that they had also decorated!
I am still getting my surprise gift on thursdays, this girl never fails to amaze me! Just have a look at this!
Julie has made a Christmas scene and fitted lights into the back of the box. The little houses are a die from Sizzix. Just amazing!
Thank you Julie.
Here are a few cards that julie designed for the card classes running up to Christmas.

Christmas is on the cards!

Morning everyone!
Yes, Christmas is creeping up fast.
I'am not a huge Christmas fan myself, but i know plenty of ladies who are.
So this week Julie gently introduced the class into the Festive season by making one Christmas card.
The base card is made with the grand nestabilities. The snow stamp comes from the woodware collection.
The second card they made was using distress inks and one of the new memory box dies! Love the colours!
Love thursdays it's the day that julie start the class with a new design, so can't wait for tonight!

Thank you girls!

Just had a fabulous two week vacation (American touring holiday - that's the word those foreigners use over there, yeah?).

I have to say Karen and Julie performed a truly sterling job whilst away - thank you ladies!
They were given strict instructions to keep my hanging baskets alive and a great job they did!

Karen worked more days than her usual 'stint' with a few days help from Julie - who is my main designer for the Craftbox.

When the shop wasn't busy, and there can be prolonged quiet spells midweek, Julie used free time to get on with a little crafting... and a bit more crafting, and a even more crafting, and then a little bit more crafting too!

Karen dubbed her 'Julie the crafter'.

Both girls get on great, but Karen wasn't long in informing Julie that cleaning up needs to be done as well as some crafting during quiet spells - she thus became known as 'Karen the grafter!

I will leave them to sort that one out between them, now that I am back. Meantime big thanks again to the two of them - herewith nicknamed 'Karen the grafter' and 'Julie the crafter', without whom the Craft Box would not have remained open for its loyal customers, lol.
So this is what they got up to while i was away!
Wedding card usingMagnolia stamp and papers from craftwork cards.

Set of three boxes covered with the same papers.
Kaisercraft stamp used with embossing technique.
These three cards are from the Sizzix collection

The birdhouse is one of the scoreboard dies from sizzix. They have had a fantastic range this year!

Love this card! it probably the colours that do it for me. The stamps are from Paper artsy.

Baby card was made with one of magnolias stamp from one of the  latest collections.

And another Magnolia card Using papers from craftwork card.
The back ground on this card was created with a stripe stamp from justrite stamps. It was inked with one colour then inked and turned round to make the checked pattern. Flowers made with punches.

Also while i was away Kathy held her scrapbook workshop!
The ladies made a paper-bag album.

And last but not least heres what  Michelle produced in her promarker class. Beautiful detail!
Well, i hope you liked what the girls have been up to !
